As part of the second term of the fashion styling course, we visited H&M’s showroom in Mexico City. We learned how the industry works behind the scenes and the dynamics between stylists, PRs, and showrooms. We were then divided into teams and invited to select twelve h&m products so we could plan and produce a fashion photo shoot. We identified horizontal lines as a consistent trend within the products. We developed a mood board and pulled the garments we thought would work best. We chose a contemporary building as our setting because the clean architectural lines worked perfectly with the theme of our shooting. The fashion styling was a collaborative effort between the four members of the team. During the photo shoot, I was responsible for taking the photographs whit the help of my teammates to assist with the lighting and styling.
