DNA
This project was divided into four stages. First was the research and experimentation with form and materials. It all started out with the theme of the caste system when Spain conquered America. During the research process, I focused on the mixing of traits and the actual DNA structure in which this changes occurred. The next part of the project was the sketching and illustration of the designs, as well as the technical drawings. The third step was the making of one of the garments in the mini-collection. Finally, photographing the end result and working on the editorial design to present it as a lookbook.
